Sandee's artistic career started when she began teaching in her studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She taught weekly classes, workshops and seminars for over 25 years. Designing and private commission
work for clients in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana were rewarding
challenges as well. Sandee studied under a few well known Cincinnati artists but is
mostly self-taught. Her work now hangs in collections throughout the United
States.
She has received awards for her impressionistic art as well as
her realistic paintings. Sandee has been juried into shows both national and
international in Pittsburgh, Pa., The Charlotte Art Guild in Punta Gorda,
Florida, The Gallery North in Bloomington, Indiana, The Indiana Heritage Arts
Show in Nashville, Indiana in 2006, 2008, and 2009 and The Hoosier Salon in
Indianapolis, Indiana.
She currently is a member of The Brown County Art Gallery in
Nashville, Indiana The Brown County Art Guild, The Brown County Art Alliance, The
Hoosier Salon, and The Indiana Heritage Arts and Indiana Plein Air Painters
Association.
Sandee's impressionist oil paintings are now on
exhibit at the Brown County Art Gallery, and her own Cabin Ridge Studio &
Gallery on Wallow Hollow Road in Nashville, Indiana
